We’re honored to’ve been chosen to perform at the North Louisiana Civil Rights Coalition’s (NLCRC) Inaugural Legends Gala Honoring Civil Rights Greats to honor Civil Rights local legends who’ve passed on to glory ,including Dr. Harry Blake, Dr. E. Edward Jones, Mamie Love Wallace, Dr. C.C. McLain, and Rev. H. Calvin Austin! Also performing will be the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Choir.
The Legends Gala will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the Shreveport Convention Center, where many will gather to pay tribute to extraordinary individuals whose lives were dedicated to advancing civil rights and human dignity.
Individual Tickets are $75, and Table Sponsorships are available at various levels. Deadline to purchase tickets or sponsorships is Mon., Nov. 10 @ 3 pm! Proceeds benefit the NLCRC’s continuing restoration of the Old Galilee Baptist Church near the Shreveport City Court to convert it into the North Louisiana Civil Rights Museum. This is a very worthy cause, so please come and support this!

Due to weather concerns, our leadership has decided to cancel tonight’s rehearsal. Please join us next Monday, Dec. 1, at the usual time and place (6:00 ㏘ @ New Arts Cultural Society, 4714 Monkhouse Dr, Shreveport). An additional make-up rehearsal is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 4, also at the usual time and place.
