Patricia Britton-Hall, Artistic Director

After the June 13, 2017 death of past director and founder of the New Dimensions Choral Society, Bobby Wiggins, the group unanimously elected Patricia Britton-Hall, the then-Assistant Director, as its new Artistic Director.

Bio of Patricia Britton Hall 

Patricia B. Hall is the Artistic Director of New Dimensions Choral Society and serves on the Executive Committee of the New Arts Cultural Society. Ms. Hall received the Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Grambling State University and was one of the first African Americans to receive a Master of Music Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Music in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a music educator in the Caddo Parish School System for many years as music teacher at Walnut Hill Elementary / Middle School, Captain Shreve High School, and at Caddo Magnet High School where she developed an award-winning choir. In 1992, she became Supervisor of Music in the Caddo Parish School System and was in charge of music programs in 75 schools where she supervised 125 teachers. She also has taught piano at Illinois Central College in Peoria, IL, and choral music at Grambling State University.

Patricia is married to Carl Hall and has one daughter, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
