The Community Foundation of North Louisiana describes this wonderful giving opportunity as follows:

On May 6 the Community Foundation and 232 area non-profits [including us] will come together for North Louisiana’s largest day of giving—Give For Good!

Since its inception in 2014, Give For Good has sparked generosity from thousands of donors, resulting in over 90,000 donations and raising more than $22 million in critical funding for local nonprofits! Last year, 4,300 donors came together to raise a record $2.94 million to support 222 area nonprofits.

This year, we invite you to be part of the biggest impact yet! By donating just $10, anyone can join in to make a difference in our community.

—How to Give—

1. Visit giveforgoodnla.org from April 22–May 6.
2. Explore and choose your favorite organizations and add them to your cart.
3. Donate what you can and check out a single, simple step. You’ll receive an immediate tax receipt.

What makes it even more exciting? Every donation is amplified through the Lagniappe Fund—a bonus pool of over $200,000 that will be distributed via pro rata matching and prizes. Since 2014, the Lagniappe Fund has awarded $2.7 million in bonus funds and prizes to participating nonprofits.
