Join us in Keeping the Legacy of the Negro Spiritual Alive by attending our annual Festival of the Negro Spiritual! Hosted at Baptist Bible Fellowship thanks to the generosity of Pastor James Jenkins. Featuring our dear friends Heritage from Baton Rouge and the wonderful A Capella Choir of Wiley University, plus for the 1st time the Southwood High School Concert Choir directed by our own Anthony Cheathem, along with our own New Dimensions Choral Society choir.
— Participating Choirs —
- Heritage of Baton Rouge (which holds a similar Festival of Spirituals there the first Saturday of Black History Month each year, in which we usually participate), under the direction of Clarence Jones
- A Capella Choir of Wiley University under the direction of Bruce Thompson
- Southwood High School Concert Choir under the direction of our own Anthony Cheathem
- And, of course, us, the New Dimensions Choral Society under the direction of our own Artistic Director Patricia Britton-Hall.
